You'd think LTspice was headed to the grave with the departure of Mike from ADI, but no. Their latest release has a 25% speed improvement and has a new card - FRA - frequency response analysis - something that lets you extract a Bode plot from a transient simulation - something Simplis has had for decades and Qspice provides too (though how it does it is a secret).
But, if you're interested in getting into analog, here's a (not free) course https://zerotoasiccourse.com/ - though I have to add that I recently saw something on Linkedin saying there was a fully open-source analog course now available - out of a German university: https://iic-jku.github.io/analog-circuit-design/
https://youtu.be/caXwuuXSB-A (Pat Deegan : https://psychogenic.com/)
And don't miss : Uri Shaked's ESP32 (and other MCU) simulator : https://wokwi.com
And Seeed Studio's SenseCAP : https://www.seeedstudio.com/SenseCAP-Watcher-W1-A-p-5979.html
How do you know how to build? Pat has a video on that.
Now, how do you know how to build better? Here's an example - Barrie Gilbert on low noise design : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98DbW_g2GAk
